Předkládaná diplomová práce je zaměřena na otázku rovnosti mužů a žen v pracovněprávních vztazích s cílem zhodnotit, jakou roli hrají či mohou hrát odborové organizace v prosazování genderové rovnosti. V teoretické části práce jsou představeny základní koncepty genderové problematiky a nastíněn historický vývoj odborového sdružování v Českých zemích. Pozornost je věnována legislativním normám upravujícím podmínky odborového sdružování a rozboru zákonných opatření na podporu rovnosti v pracovněprávních vztazích. Empirická část práce se věnuje analytickému rozboru textů kolektivních smluv a analýze polostrukturovaných rozhovorů realizovaných se zástupci odborových svazů a Výboru pro rovné příležitosti mužů a žen při Českomoravské konfederaci odborových svazů. Diploma thesis is focused on the issue of gender equality in labour relations in order to assess what role the trade unions can or could play in promoting gender equality. The theoretical part introduces the basic concepts of gender issues and outlines the historical development of unionization in the Czech lands. Attention is paid to legislative standards governing the conditions unionization and analysis of legal measures to promote equality in labour relations. The research focuses on analysis of the texts of collective agreements, and analyses semi- structured interviews performed with representatives of trade unions and the Committee on Equal Opportunities for Men and Women at Czech-Moravian Confederation of Trade Unions.
