Cílem bakalářské práce bylo zmapování současného stavu ve výskytu a následném využívání národních referenčních dat a na jejich základě vytvořených růstových grafů se zaměřením převážně na evropské země. Růstové grafy jsou nepostradatelnou součástí pediatrické praxe z důvodu jednoduchého použití při hodnocení vývoje dítěte. I vzhledem k sekulárnímu trendu je však nutná pravidelná aktualizace těchto grafů, aby co nejlépe vystihovaly růst dětí dané populace a nedocházelo k chybnému vyhodnocení, např. u pubertálního spurtu. Z výsledků naší analýzy vyplývá, že v současné době jsou v používání růstových referencí tři základní trendy: 1) jsou používány pouze růstové standardy Světové zdravotnické organizace (WHO), např. Srbsko, Švýcarsko, Ukrajina, 2) kombinace standardů WHO a národních referencí např. Spojené království Velké Británie a Severního Irska, Polsko, a 3) používání pouze národních referencí a to v České republice a ve státech převážně severozápadní Evropy, např. Spolková republika Německo či Finsko. The aim of the thesis was to map the current state of the occurrence and the subsequent use of national reference data and on the basis of the data created growth charts with focusing mainly on European countries. Growth charts are an indispensable part of pediatric practice because of ease of use when assessing a child's development. Due to the secular trend, however, it is necessary to periodically update these graphs that they best resemble the growth of children population and to avoid false positives, eg. at pubertal spurt. The results of our analysis show that there are currently in use of growth references three basic trends: 1) is used only growth standards of the World Health Organization (WHO), for example: Serbia, Switzerland, Ukraine, 2) a combination of the standards of WHO and national reference for example: United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Poland, and 3) use of only national references and concretely in the Czech Republic and mainly in states of northwestern Europe, eg. the Federal Republic of Germany and Finland.
