Domácí násilí je často zmiňovaný termín, před kterým veřejnost mnoho let zavírala oči. Nyní se mu věnuje více pozornosti, a proto má práce pojednává o tomto problému a metodice pracovníků, kteří pracují s domácím násilím, naší legislativě, která se konečně začíná problémem domácího násilí zabývat a aktuální zákony tím i zlepšovat. Tato práce má za úkol definovat co je to domácí násilí a jaké musí splňovat prvky, dále má čtenáři podat pomocnou ruku a ukázat mu, kde najde pomoc. V neposlední řadě má také poukázat na chybné zákony a nedokonalé řešení případů domácího násilí a zejména na nekomplexní řešení problematiky na úrovni státu. Domestic violence is a frequently mentioned concept that used to be ignored by the public for many years. More attention is paid to the issue nowadays; therefore, my thesis deals with this issue, the methodology used by domestic violence specialists and our legislation (which is finally beginning to address the problem of domestic violence and to amend the currently applicable laws). The objective of the thesis is to define domestic violence and its elements and to help the victims and show them where to find help. Finally, the thesis aims to point out incorrect and imperfect solutions to cases of domestic violence and in particular the failure to deal with the issue in a comprehensive manner at the government level.
