Cílem této práce je zabývat se významnými osobnostmi českého secesního šperku a ohodnotit jejich tvorbu. Jedná se o tyto umělce: Emanuel Novák, František Anýž, Václav Němec, Josef Ladislav Němec, Marie Křivánková a Emanuel Karč. U těchto umělců jsem nastínila jejich život a pokusila se po umělecké stánce zhodnotit jejich práci v oblasti šperku. Ve své práci jsem nejprve nastínila dění a osobnosti v tomto oboru v Evropě, Anglii a Americe. Zmínila jsem se také o nových materiálech, technikách a motivech v období secese. V další části své práce jsem se zabývala českým prostředím a školstvím, se kterým jsou tyto osobnosti převážně úzce spjaty. V poslední části jsem se zabývala samotnými osobnostmi a jejich tvorbou. These important artists are: Emanuel Novák, František Anýž, Václav Němec, Josef Ladislav Němec, Marie Křivánková and Emanuel Karč. While describing these artists I outlined their lives and tried evaluate their work in the field of jewellery from an artistic point of view. First, in my work I depicted the situation and artists in their field in Europe, England and America. I mentioned new materials, techniques and motifs of Art Nouveau, too. In the following part of my work I dealt with the situation in Bohemia, including an education system, with which these artists are mostly associated.
