Hlavním cílem této práce je popsat postupy likvidace starých ekologických zátěží po těžbě ropy a zemního plynu v chráněné oblasti přirozené akumulace vod Kvartér řeky Moravy. Práce je zaměřena také na historii a míru znečištění, rovněž rozebírá nejrizikovější polutanty v oblasti a jejich negativní dopad na životní prostředí. Výsledkem práce je souhrn relikvidačních a sanačních metod používaných pro odstraňování ekologických zátěží po těžbě ropy a zemního plynu, přehledné zpracování historie těžby ropy a zemního plynu na jižní Moravě a popis příčin kontaminace v chráněné oblasti přirozené akumulace vod Kvartér řeky Moravy. The thesis is also focused on the history and amount of pollution, noting the most hazardous pollutants on site and their impact on the environment. The result of the thesis is a summary of disposal and sanitation techniques, sources of the pollution, and the history of oil drilling and extracting in the South Moravia Region.
