Cílem této práce je zanalyzovat vývoj sociálně-prostorové struktury města Mostu v období 1991-2011, z pohledu sociální ekologie. Konkrétně jde o snahu vytvořit lokální typologii města, tedy vymezit podobná území na základě socioekonomických znaků obyvatelstva a zachytit transformační procesy stojící za těmito změnami. Vývoj prostorového rozmístění obyvatelstva je analyzován v duchu faktorové ekologie. Práce tedy využívá vícerozměrných statistických metod, a to faktorové analýzy (analýzy hlavních komponent), neboť předmětem zájmu je zjistit, jaké faktory jsou rozhodující pro vnitřní diferenciaci města a jak významnou mají váhu, následně pak využití analýzy shlukové. Využita jsou data za základní sídelní jednotky ze statistik Sčítání lidu, domů a bytů za roky 1991, 2001 a 2011. The purpose of this diploma thesis is to analyze social-spatial structure of the town Most from the point of view of human ecology. The period under consideration is from 1991 to 2011. There is attempt to define local typology of the city, i.e. areas with similarities in the socioeconomic characteristic, its changes and also describe a transformation processes behind it. Trends in spatial differentiation of people are analyzed according to factor ecology. It means that there are used methods of multidimensional statistics like factor analysis and cluster analysis, because of defining the type and strength of certain factors which are specific to the urban areas.
