[cze][eng] Tato bakalářská práce se skládá ze dvou částí. První část je český překlad části kapitoly "The Historical Background" z příručky k severské mytologii "Norse Mythology: A Guide to the Gods, Heroes, Rituals, and Beliefs" od amerického autora Johna Lindowa. Druhá část je komentář k tomuto překladu. Ten je tvořen z překladatelské analýzy výchozího textu, z popisu zvolené překladatelské metody a z popisu a typologizace překladatelských problémů.The bachelor's thesis consists of two parts. The former is a Czech translation of the part of a chapter named 'The Historical Background' of the title 'Norse Mythology: A Guide to the Gods, Heroes, Rituals, and Beliefs' by John Lindow. The latter part is a commentary of the translation. The commentary is comprised of a translation analysis of the source text, characterization of the chosen translation method, and characterization of the encountered translation problems.
