Abstract: The thesis deals with contemporary housing of university students in Prague's inner city. The study is based on qualitative research: data was collected using semi-structured interviews and then analysed by method of grounded theory. Based on the data, the reasons for student migration to inner city, the criteria of searching and selection of new housing and its future development are discussed.
