Článek se zaměřuje na SPECIALIST lexikon, který je jedním ze tří UMLS znalostních zdrojů. Jeho cílem je vytvořit obecný anglický lexikon, který obsáhne mnoho biomedicínských pojmů. Každá položka v lexikonu zaznamenává syntaktické, morfologické a ortografické informace potřebné pro zpracovávání přirozeného jazyka. Jelikož pro český jazyk takovýto lexikon neexistuje, popisuje článek dále analýzu českého jazyka, která by pomohla při včlenění češtiny do lexikonu. The article focuses on the SPECIALIST lexicon, one of three UMLS knowledge sources. Its aim is to create a general English lexicon containing many biomedical terms. Each entry in the lexicon describes syntactic, morphologic, and orthographic information needed for natural language processing. As there is no such a lexicon for the Czech language, the article describes also the analysis of the Czech language that could help in integrating Czech to the lexicon.
