Hlavním cílem rigorózní práce je popsat a utřídit informace o starobních důchodech a reformě důchodového systému v České republice ve smyslu platné právní úpravy. Tato práce popisuje důchodový systém České republiky, který je tvořen třemi pilíři - důchodovým pojištěním, důchodovým spoření a doplňkovým důchodovým spořením. Práce skládá z úvodu, pěti kapitol a závěru.
