Tato práce se pokouší postihnout teatralizaci parlamentních debat v britské House of Commons a její proměny v čase. V první části tohoto textu dochází k vymezení některých funkcí parlamentní debaty. Klíčovou je komunikační úloha parlamentu, tedy projev parlamentu směrem k veřejnosti. Dále text definuje koncept teatralizace parlamentní debaty. Postupně dochází k vymezení prvků, ze kterých se pojem teatralizace skládá. Jedná se o architekturu sálu, pravidla a zvyky provázející parlamentní debatu, a také o parlamentní jazyk jako takový. Závěrečnou část textu představuje komparace parlamentních debat ze třech období britské dolní sněmovny. Tato období se od sebe přitom liší intenzitou mediálního přenosu, mezníky oddělující jednotlivá období představuje zavedení rozhlasového a televizního přenosu parlamentních debat. Tato bakalářská práce vychází z hypotézy, podle které se bude teatralizace parlamentních debat úměrně zvyšovat s rozšiřováním mediálního přenosu debat House of Commons. Změny by se měly projevit prostřednictvím míry zastoupení jednotlivých prvků teatralizace v parlamentní debatě. Výsledná komparace ovšem výše uvedenou hypotézu zcela nepotvrdila. Teatralizace parlamentních projevů se sice u určitých sledovaných prvků postupem času zvětšovala, zastoupení jiných aspektů teatralizace se však... The text describes the development of theatrality in parliamentary discourses in the House of Commons. It analyses functions of parliamentary debates, especially the communicative function of parliament. The theatrality of parliamentary discourse is composed of several elements. These are the architecture of the House, rules and customs of parliamentary debates and the parliamentary language itself. In the final part of the text I will compare theatrality of parliamentary debates from three different periods of the House of Commons history. While the initial period contains parliamentary debates from before the first radio broadcastings from the House, debates of the second period are already aired. The last period gathers three televised House of Commons debates. According to the texts principal hypothesis of the text, the theatrality of parliamentary discourses will rise with the media broadcasting. The final comparison shows differences among examined periods, however, the hypothesis was not entirely confirmed. Several aspects of detheatrility of parliamentary discourses also appears.
