Určování měřítek starých map Abstrakt Tato diplomová práce spadá svým zaměřením do oboru kartometrických analýz. Zabývá se problematikou stanovení měřítka na vybraných starých mapách velkých či středních měřítek bez výrazného vlivu kartografického zobrazení. Cílem práce je analyzovat a porovnat různé metody, které se k určování měřítek využívají. Zkoumány jsou metody přímého určení, jež využívají přímého odměření z mapového pole a také nepřímé metody, které určují měřítko jako jeden z parametrů rovinné transformace. Robustní statistické metody pojmenované M-odhady jsou aplikovány u nepřímých metod při vyrovnání měření ve formě váhové matice a mají za cíl potlačit vliv odlehlých měření na hodnotu výsledku. Matematická implementace těchto metod je další náplní této práce. Klíčová slova: měřítko, robustní statistika, staré mapy, kartometrické analýzy Detecting map scales of old maps Abstract This diploma thesis falls within its focus to the field of cartometric analysis. It deals with the issue of detecting a map scale from chosen large or middle-scale old maps without the influence of cartographic projection. The aim of the thesis is to analyze and compare different methods that are used for map scale detection. Direct methods which use direct measurement from a map field are examined as well as indirect methods which detect a map scale as one of the plane transformation parameter. Robust statistical methods named M-estimators are applied on indirect methods during the compensation process in the form of a weight matrix and are supposed to suppress the influence of remote measurements on the resulting value.
