In this paper we will discuss the characterization of strictly ν-normal and strictly ν-stable distribution. At the beginning we mentioned some basic concepts, which we then use in this work. Such as, strongly monotone operator, strictly ξ-positive family, or linear form. Further, we describe the characterization of strictly ν-normal and strictly ν-stable distribution using the above definitions. We also lists examples of ν-stable distributions and we prove corresponding results. In the last chapter we look at the use of mentioned distributions in practice, namely ν-stable distribution. 1 V tyhle práci se budeme zabývat charakterizací striktně ν-normálního a striktně ν-stabilního rozdělení. Na začátek si uvedeme několik základních pojmů, které budeme následně v této práci používat. Jako například intenzivní monotónní operátor, silně ξ-pozi- tivní rodina, či lineární forma. Dále popíšeme samotnou charakterizaci striktně ν-normál- ního a striktně ν-stabilního rozdělení pomocí výše uvedených definic a uvedeme si příklady ν-stabilních rozdělení, které si dokážeme odpovídající výsledky. V poslední kapitole se podíváme na využití zmíněných rozdělení v praxi, konkrétně ν-stabilního rozdělení. 1
