Tato práce sleduje diferenciaci v životním stylu se zaměřením na mezigenerační reprodukci při jeho utváření. Působení tohoto procesu zkoumá v kontextu sociální změny, která v naší společnosti proběhla v období mezi 70. a 90. léty 20. století. Životní styl konceptualizuje jako různé sféry trávení volného času (vysokokulturní, aktivně-společenské mimo domov, domácí/pasivní a sledování televize). Na jejich diferenciaci se podílí značné množství faktorů, které lze obecně vymezit jako psychologické a ekonomické. Sekundární analýza dat z reprezentativních výzkumů kohorty třicetiletých v letech 1993 a 2008 se soustředí především na efekty rodinné socializace. Výsledky ukazují, že efekt stejných sfér volnočasových aktivit rodičů v době socializace je téměř dvakrát větší, než efekt vlastní pozice potomka v dospělosti (vyjádřené jeho socioekonomickým statusem, vzděláním a tím, zda sám vychovává dítě), u sféry vysokokulturních aktivit potomka, zhruba 1,5 krát větší u sféry aktivně-společenských činností a dokonce 7 krát větší u domácí/pasivní sféry volného času. V celkovém podílu však všechny zmíněné faktory vysvětlují varianci ve způsobech trávení volného času jen z necelé třetiny - to znamená, že z více jak dvou třetin vysvětlují diferenciaci volnočasových aktivit faktory jiné, jako třeba osobnostní rysy... This thesis deals with differentiation of lifestyle and especially it focuses on intergenerational reproduction in the process of its creation. This process is pursued within the context of the social change which occurred in Czech society between 70's and 90's. Lifestyle is conceptualised as a differences in spending free time (as high culture, outdoor social-active, household/passive and watching TV). A significant variety of diverse factors, which can be described as psychological and economical, participates in this differentiation. The secondary data analysis of representative sample of people in their thirties in between years 1993 and 2008 is focused on effects of family socialisation. The results leads to the fact that the effect of same sphere of parents leisure time activities in a period of socialisation, is almost two times bigger that the effect of individual position of the adult offspring (expressed by his socioeconomic status, education and the fact that he himself raises a child) in the high culture sphere, almost 1,5 times bigger in the sphere of social activities and more that 7 times bigger in household/passive free time activities sphere.
