Bakalářská práce kriticky zpracovává téma dobového diskurzu o postavení a uplatnění žen v české hudbě, jak jej formuloval Mirko Očadlík ve studii Žena v české hudbě, jež vyšla ve sborníku Česká žena v dějinách národa (1940). Kritické poznatky v práci se opírají o teoretické uvažování z oblasti feministické muzikologie (kritika hudebního kánonu západoevropské hudební tradice), feministické kulturní antropologie a feministické filozofie. Téma nabízí řadu dalších otázek vhodných k budoucímu bádání a rovněž přispívá k diskusi o chápání postavení žen v české hudbě. This bachelor thesis deals critically with the topic of the contemporary discourse on the status and professional involvement of women in Czech music, as formulated in Mirko Očadlík's study Woman in Czech Music [Žena v české hudbě] published in the Czech Woman in National History [Česká žena v dějinách národa] anthology (1940). In this thesis my critical aparatus is based on theoretical reflections of feminist musicology (a critique of the musical canon of Western art music tradition), cultural anthropology and feminist philosophy. The topic offers a range of other issues suitable for further research, and it also contributes to the debate on understanding the position of women in Czech music.
