Srovnání úmrtnosti na nemoci oběhového systému ve Francii a v České republice v období 1965-1985 a možnosti prezentace výsledků analýzy široké veřejnosti Abstrakt Tato práce má dva relativně samostatné hlavní cíle. Prvním je srovnání úmrtnosti na nemoci oběhového systému ve Francii a v České republice v 60., 70. a 80. letech 20. století. Právě v tomto období začala Česká republika ve vývoji úmrtnosti zaostávat za demograficky vyspělými zeměmi západní Evropy. Práce se zabývá vývojem celkové úmrtnosti vybraných zemí a blíže se věnuje úmrtnosti na kardiovaskulární nemoci coby hlavní skupině příčin úmrtí, která negativně ovlivnila vývoj úmrtnosti v České republice. Vlastní analýza úmrtnosti využívá aplikaci principu nepřímé standardizace, jejíž výsledky jsou lépe představitelné pro širokou veřejnost. Druhý dílčí cíl se zabývá možnostmi zprostředkování výsledků demografické analýzy široké veřejnosti a mapováním aktuálních způsobů prezentace dat laikům. Nalezená doporučení a poznatky byly aplikovány při tvorbě posteru, který vznikl v rámci této práce a je možné jej nalézt v příloze. Klíčová slova: Francie, Česká republika, nemoci oběhového systému, princip nepřímé standardizace, prezentace výsledků Comparison of cardiovascular mortality in France and the Czech Republic in the period 1965-1985 and possibilities of presentation of the results of analysis to public Abstract This Thesis has two main relatively independent goals. The first aim is a comparison of cardiovascular mortality in France and the Czech Republic during the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. According to the mortality, in this period, the Czech Republic began lag behind demographically developed countries of Western Europe. The Thesis focuses on the development of overall mortality in both selected countries and it is specifically devoted to the cardiovascular mortality as the main cause of death, which negatively affected the development of mortality in the Czech Republic. The analysis is based on the application of the principle of indirect standardization, whose the results are more conceivable for the general public. The second goal deals with the possibilities of presentation results of demographic analysis to the general public and mapping current ways of presenting data to non-professionals. The found recommendations and information were applied during the preparation of the poster which was created as a part of this Thesis and can be found in the appendix.
