Cílem této práce je především upozornění na problematiku přístupnosti veřejné dopravy pro osoby se sníženou schopností pohybu a orientace v hlavním městě Praze a také problematiku samotného pohybu po městě pro osoby s handicapem. Tato situace je souběžné porovnávána s hlavním městem sousedního evropského státu Spolkové republiky Německo a je nahlíženo na možnosti řešení, které zde byly uplatněny. Zásadní je pak zamyšlení nad nepoměrnou rozdílností bezbariérového stavu v obou městech, přičemž je posuzována oblast historická, sociální, legislativní a finanční. V závěru je poukázána možnost zlepšení situace a vize problematiky do budoucna vzhledem k čerstvě započatým bezbariérovým projektům. Klíčová slova Bezbariérová doprava, přístupnost města, osoby s handicapem, snížená schopnost pohybu a orientace The aim of the thesis is primarily to draw attention to the issue of accesibility of public transport for people with constrained ability to move and limited orientatation in Prague, as well as the issue of movement of handicapped people in the capital. This situation is simultaniously compared to Berlin, capital city of the neighbouring Federal Republic of Germany, and the implemented alternative solutions are contemplated. Reflecting on the disproportional difference of the wheelchair accesible possibilities in both capitals is crutial, taking the areas of history, wellfare, legislation and finance into consideration. The oportunity to improve the situation and the future vision of the issue with regard to the freshly initiated barrier-free projects is highlighted in the end of the thesis.
