Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá proměnou čínsko-taiwanských vztahů (haixia liang'an guanxi 海峽兩岸關係) z hlediska dvou nejsilnějších politických stran na Taiwanu, a to Demokratické pokrokové strany (Minzhu jinbu dang 民 主 進 步 黨 ) a Kuomintangu (Guomin dang 國民黨). Cílem této práce je provést analýzu proměny dosavadního vývoje čínsko-taiwanských vztahů za použití rétoriky inauguračních projevů prezidentů (Zongtong jiuzhi yanshuo 總統就職演說) Čínské republiky učiněných v letech 1996-2012, neboť prezidentem na Taiwanu se zpravidla stává předseda strany, tudíž se jedná o prohlášení učiněná nejen nejvyššími představiteli státu, ale zároveň také nejvyššími představiteli daných politických stan. Pomocí inauguračních projevů si tato práce klade za cíl vypozorovat trend čínsko-taiwanských vztahů a na jeho základě nastínit možný budoucí vývoj, neboť eskalace dlouhodobě napjatých vztahů mezi Čínskou republikou a Čínskou lidovou republikou by mohla znamenat bezpečnostní riziko pro daný region. Thesis abstract This Bachelor Degree Thesis inspects the evolution of attitudes of the Kuomintang (Guomin dang 國民黨) and the Democratic Progressive Party (Minzhu jinbu dang 民主進步 黨) towards Sino-Taiwanese relations (Haixia liang'an guanxi 海峽兩岸關係). The aim of this Bachelor Degree Thesis is to outline the evolution of Sino-Taiwanese relations up to now. To deal with this task this Bachelor Degree Thesis uses the inauguration speeches of presidents (Zongtong jiuzhi yanshuo 總統就職演說) of the Republic of China during the years 1996-2012. The reason why this Thesis is using the rhetoric of inauguration speeches is that in Taiwan the chairman of a political party becomes the president, therefore the speeches he makes do not only represent the opinion of the state highest representative but they also represent the opinion of the political party. By the analysis of inauguration speeches this Thesis wants to observe the trend in the evolution of Sino-Taiwanese relations and outline possibilities of the future development because the escalation of long-term tense relations between the Republic of China and the People's Republic of China could mean a safety threat for the whole region.
