Bakalá ská práce "Rozdíl ve vztahu eských médií k Africe a zbytku sv ta na p íkladu vzniku samostatného Kosova Jižního Súdánu" si dává za cíl analyzovat p ístup ty celostátních seriózních deník k africkému kontinentu. Pomocí kvantitativní obsahové analýzy nejprve zkoumá charakteristiku zpráv ze zahrani ních rubrik vybraných deník ve dvou náhodn vybraných m sících a následn potvrdí získané poznatky p i analýze konkrétních p íklad , kterými jsou vyhlášení nezávislosti Kosova a Jižního Súdánu. V první polovin se práce zam uje na krátké p edstavení obou stát , které jsou pozd ji analyzovány. Historické informace pomohou k pochopení d ní v obou zemích, což je využito p i zkoumání a analýze jednotlivých lánk ve sledovaném období. Práce zárove v teoretické ásti p edstavuje n které pojmy z mediální teorie, o které se b hem výzkumu opírá. V druhé polovin je nejd íve p edstaven metodologický postup, kterým se p i samotné analýze práce ídí. V této kapitole je p edevším jasn definována hypotéza a popsána operacionalizace. Následuje sb r dat a p edstavení výsledk v podob graf a komentá . V záv ru práce jsou analyzována získaná data, ze kterých zjiš ujeme, zda naše hypotéza byla potvrzena i vyvrácena a výsledky jsou zasazeny do kontextu stanovených mediálních teorií. The bachelor thesis "Difference between Czech media's relation to Africa and the rest of the world on the example of formation of independent Kosovo and South Sudan is analysing the approach of four major broadsheets to Africa. The thesis is using a quantitative content analysis in order to describe characteristics of the international news in the chosen broadsheets during two different months. The recived data will be then confirmed by analysing a specific case of independent Kosovo and South Sudan. In the first half, the thesis is focusing on a brief description of recent history of both states which will be analysed later on. The historical background will help to understand the situation in both countries which as in information that will be used to analyse the articles in the observed period. In the theoretical part, some concepts of media theory are presented as well as they are used throughout the thesis. In the second half, the methodology is presented in order to detrmine a plan which will be followed during the analysis. In this chapter, the hypothesis is clearly described. In the next step, the analysis itself is presented in a form of graphs and commentary. The final chapter analyses the recived data and confirms whether the hypothesis was correct.
