Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem Založení jezuitské koleje v Jihlavě v 17. století. Opírá se zejména o studium pramenů uložených především v Moravském zemském archivu v Brně, ze kterého čerpá zejména informace o založení koleje a semináře při koleji, a dále z fondů Státního okresního archivu v Jihlavě, ve kterém jsou uloženy prameny týkající se královského města Jihlavy a jezuitského gymnázia. První dvě kapitoly slouží k uvedení do základní problematiky nábožensko-politických procesů raného novověku v Českém království a jejich projevů v královském městě Jihlavě, které jsou časově ohraničeny na jedné straně počátkem luterské reformace, na druhé potom začátkem rekatolizace. Následující kapitola již uvádí do ústředního tématu práce. Analyzuje průběh rekatolizačního procesu v samotné Jihlavě, jehož důležitou součástí je právě založení jezuitské koleje, která vzniká v kontrastu hospodářských problémů města. Další kapitola se zabývá posledním úsekem třicetileté války po bitvě u Jankova, kdy do města vstoupila švédská armáda - líčí její působení a vliv na kolej a město. Poslední kapitola pak analyzuje založení jezuitského gymnázia a semináře sv. Michala, počty a složení studentů i seminaristů, jejich konflikty či naopak významné absolventy. Především je zde rozebírána schopnost města dostát finančním... Bachelor thesis deals with the Foundation of the Jesuit College in Jihlava in the 17th century. It is based mainly on the study of materials stored in the Moravian Land Archive in Brno , from which it derives information about the foundation of college and institutionally attached seminar. Furthermore, materials from State District Archive in Jihlava were used to provide information about the city of Jihlava and Jesuit Gymnasium. The first two chapters shall be understood as an introduction to the religious- political background of Early Modern Czech kingdom and its manifestations in the royal town of Jihlava, which are tematized in a period starting with the beginning of the Lutheran Reformation and ending with early recatholisation. Next chapter introduces the central theme of the work. It analyzes the process of recatholisation in Jihlava, which inherently included the sub-process of establishment of the Jesuit College happening in contrast to general economic problems of the Jihlava municipality. Following chapter deals with the last period of the Thirty Years' War, after the battle of Jankov, when the city entered the Swedish army.
