Bakalářská práce pojednává a přibližuje pohled na hospicovou péči. Zabývá se rolí dobrovolníka v hospici. Ukazuje na to, že lidé mohou důstojně odejít z tohoto světa, aniž by zažívali dlouhodobé utrpení. Smrt lidé vytěsňují, nepřipouští si toto téma a nemluví se o ní. V naší republice máme velice malou osvětu veřejnosti, co se týče důstojného umírání, pomoci, podpoře. Tyto témata dříve nebo později se budou týkat každého z nás. A proto si myslím, že by měla veřejnost být více informována. Jako výzkumné šetření jsem zvolila metodu polostrukturovaného rozhovoru s osmi respondenty, vykonávající dobrovolnickou činnost v Hospici Anežky České v Červeném Kostelci. Tuto metodu jsem zvolila z důvodu přímého osobního kontaktu s jednotlivými respondenty. Musím konstatovat, že mi rozhovory s jednotlivými respondenty daly mnoho dalších zkušeností a poznatků. Z provedených rozhovorů jsem vyvodila závěr, že ten kdo poskytuje, nezištně pomoc druhým lidem, bez jakéhokoliv profitu se s touto vlastností již musí narodit. A tímto bych chtěla všem, kdo tuto činnost vykonává z hloubky srdce poděkovat. This bachelor work deals with and brings up a closer look at the hospic care. It considers a role of a volunteer in the hospice. It shows the fact that people can die with dignity and leave this word without long suffering. The people ignore death, they do not admit this topic and they do not speak about it. In our country we have only a little enlightenment of the public regarding dignity of dying, help and support. However, these topics will sooner or later affect all of us. Therefore I think the public should be better informed. As a research investigation I have chosen a method of a half structured interview with eight respondents, concerning volunteer activities in the Hospice Anežka Česká in Červený Kostelec. I have made a choice for this method for the direct contact with respondents. I have to state that the interview with respondents have brought to me a lot of subsequent experiences and remarks. From the interview I have come to a conclusion that the person who provides others with selfless help without any profit, must be a person born with such character. For that reason I would like to express my sincerest thanks from the deepest part of my heart to all of those who perform such activities.
