Jejím obsahem je souhrn základní pojmů a postupů, vztahujících se k dětem předškolního věku, první pomoci, vybraným akutním stavům dětského věku a laické resuscitaci dítěte. Empirická část byla realizována pomocí kvantitativního průzkumného šetření. Potřebná data byla získána od rodičů dětí z Mateřské školy v Chrastavě a Základní školy praktické a Mateřské školy v Hrádku nad Nisou. Na základě analýzy získaných dat, odhaluje práce nedostatky ve vědomostech rodičů v poskytování první pomoci a to zejména v resuscitaci. Byla proto navrhnuta doporučení, která by mohla přispět ke zlepšení úrovně informovanosti rodičů o poskytování první pomoci u dětí. It contains a summary of basic concepts and procedures related to children in preschool age, first aid, selected acute conditions of childhood and lay resuscitation of child. The empirical part was carried out by quantitative exploratory investigation. The required data were obtained from the parents of children in Kindergarten in Chrastava and Elementary school practical and Kindergarten in Hrádek nad Nisou . Based on the analysis of the data reveals gaps in knowledge work of parents in providing first aid and especially in resuscitation.
