V bakalářské práci se věnuji pojmu enuréza a její historii, patogenezi, diagnostice a léčbě tohoto onemocnění. Je to teoreticko-empirická práce. Hlavním cílem mé práce je pokus zmapovat, jaký je psychický a sociální dopad (účast na volnočasových aktivitách, pobytu mimo domov) noční enurézy na pomočující se děti ve srovnání se zdravou populací. Dalším cílem je zjištění, zda je výskyt noční enurézy vázán na socioekonomický stav rodiny a zda jsou enuretické děti více trestány nežli děti zdravé. Pro empirickou část jsem si zvolila kvantitativní metodu výzkumného šetření formou anonymního dotazníku. Výzkumný soubor se skládá z dětských pacientů a jejich rodičů ambulantní části i lůžkového oddělení dětské kliniky v Praze. Respondenti tvořili čtyři skupiny, první skupinou byly enuretické děti, druhou zdravé děti, třetí rodiče enuretických dětí a čtvrtou skupinou byli rodiče zdravých dětí. Bylo osloveno celkem 120 respondentů. Výsledky výzkumu jsem umístila do přehledných tabulek a grafů. Z výzkumného šetření se na rozdíl od některých prací nepotvrdilo nižší sebevědomí enuretických dětí, jednoznačně bylo potvrzeno nižší využití společenských aktivit mimo domov ve srovnání se zdravými dětmi (29% u enuretiků vs.55%). This bachelor's thesis is dealing with enuresis and its history, pathogenesis, diagnosis and therapy of this entity. It is a theoreticaly-empirical thesis. The main aim of my thesis is to describe the psychological and social impacts (participating in freetime activities, overnight stay outside of home) of enuresis on enuretic children compared with the healthy population. The other question asked was, whether occurrence of enuresis is dependent on the socioeconomic status of the family and whether the enuretic children are more punished compared with healthy kids. For the empirical part of the thesis I chose the quantitative method of research, in the form of anonymous questionnaire. Sixty children (30 enuretic and 30 healthy, and their parents) who were treated at the outpatient and inpatient pediatric clinic in Prague participated in the study. The questionnaires were given out to four groups, enuretic children and a group of healthy children without enuretic symptoms, and parents of both groups respectively. The research did not confirm a lower self-esteem in enuretic children, which is in contrast with some of the literature cited.
