Bakalářská práce Vliv mediálních sdělení na české sportovce před a během olympijských her v Londýně 2012 zkoumá dopad mediálních sdělení vybraných českých médií na oštěpaře Barboru Špotákovou a Vítězslava Veselého i překážkářky Zuzanu Hejnovou a Denisu Rosolovou. Cílem práce je vyhodnocení vlivu mediálních sdělení na dané sportovce před a během olympijských her v Londýně 2012. Teoretická část je založena na dvou premisách. První tvrdí, že média mohou ovlivnit psychické rozpoložení jedince, druhá, že výkon sportovce je ovlivněn jeho psychickým stavem. Autorka vysvětluje všeobecné účinky médií a popisuje, jak mohou ovlivnit úspěšnost sportovce. Zároveň poukazuje na důležitost správného psychického rozpoložení sportovce před a během soutěže. Dále v krátkých profilech představuje vybrané atlety a nejdůležitější okamžiky jejich olympijské sezóny 2012 i zkoumaná média a jejich rubriky. Následuje analytická část práce, která je založena na kvalitativní obsahové analýze mediálních sdělení. Kvalitativní analýza textu zkoumá obsahy sledovaných médií v období pěti týdnů atletické sezony - dva týdny před, během a týden po olympijských hrách v Londýně 2012 - a analyzuje, jak bylo o vybraných sportovcích informováno. Cílem je stanovit, v jaké roli byli prezentováni jednotliví sportovci a jaká očekávání v... The bachelor thesis Influence of Media on Czech Athletes before and during the Olympic Games in London 2012 examines the impact of selected Czech media on the successful Czech athletes including: world record holder Barbora Špotáková, European Vice-champion Denisa Rosolová, World Champions Vítězslav Veselý and Zuzana Hejnová. The main content and at the same time the aim of the thesis is to inspect whether the selected media activity had positive or negative impact to the athletes performance at 2012 Olympic Games in London. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and analytic. The theoretical part is based on two main assumptions. First, media can affect an individual's state of mind, and second, a psyche of an athlete can have an impact on his or her performance. The author explains general effects of the media and points out how they can influence a success of the athlete. In addition, it describes the importance of athlete's psyche during the competition. Afterwards, it introduces the selected athletes, the most important moments in their Olympic season, and also selected media with their sections, which are explored in the practical part of the thesis.
