Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na židovské obyvatelstvo města Příbrami na příkladu rodiny Wallenfelsovy. První část práce se zabývá obecně městem Příbram a přibližuje vývoj tohoto města z více úhlů pohledu. Druhá část práce představuje průvodce historií místního židovského obyvatelstva od úplných počátků, přes vykázání z hornických měst roku 1568 až do dnešních dní. Velká pozornost je kladena druhé světové válce a jejímu dopadu na zdejší židovskou komunitu. Poslední část je věnována rodině Wallenfelsů od počátku příchodu prvních členů rodiny do Příbrami, přes holocaust během druhé světové války a pokračuje detailní historií členů až do roku 2015. Historie rodiny je zajímavá nejen svými osudy, ale i odrazem tehdejší doby a událostí, které tuto rodinu velmi ovlivnily. This bachelor's thesis concentrates on the Jewish population in Příbram and specifically the Wallenfels family. The first part looks generally into at the development of the city of Příbram from many aspects. The second part is a guide to the history of the local Jewish population from their humble beginnings, throughout the period when they were forced from the mining towns in 1568 until the present day. Special focus has been placed on World War II and its impact on the local Jewish community. The last part is devoted to the Wallenfels family from when the first members arrived in Příbram, throughout the Holocaust in the Second World War and continues with a detailed history of the family up until 2015. The Wallenfels family history is interesting not only because of their story, but also because it typifies Jewish families in Czechoslovakia during that period.
