Abstract: The bachelor thesis "The analysis of preparation and professional assistance of carers working in the Centre of Social and Carers Assistance in Prague 10" is divided into the theoretical and research part. The basic concepts and history of nursing services are described and explained in the theoretical part. In addition to that there are well defined qualification requirements for the nurses' performance in terms of legislation as well as the practical exercise of the nursing profession in the Centre of Social and Care Giving Assistance and at the same time it offers insight into the current opportunities in order to gain the necessary qualification. The research part specifies the issues and identifies the research group, which is a specific group of nurses. At the same time it approaches the research intention and describes the methods that were used for the data collection.
