Příspěvek pojednává o původním termodynamickém modelu růstu kuličkového grafitu v tvárné litině. Model, který je založen na použití rovnic matematické fyziky a termodynamických, difuzních a fázových dat, popisuje růst grafitu v kapalné a pevné fázi systému Fe-C-M. The paper deals with a original thermodynamic model of growth of graphite in spheroidal graphite cast iron. The model, which is based on the using of equations of mathematic physics and of thermodynamic, diffusion and phase data, describes of graphite growth in liquid and solid phase of Fe-C-M system.
