Uni-axial tensile tests were performed with layers of aortic wall. Specimens underwent loading in both longitudinal and circumferential directions. Experimental data were used in regression analysis which offered base for constitutive relationships. Uni-axial stress-strain relations for aortic media and adventitia were found. Byly provedeny jednoosé tahové zkoušky jednotlivých vrstev tepenné stěny. Vzorky z lidské břišní aorty byly podrobeny zatížení v podélném a obvodovém směru. Experimentální data byla použita k regresní analýze při níž byly zjištěny konstitutivní vztahy pro aortální medii a adventitii.
