Tato práce se zabývá problematikou populistických návrhů zákonů v českém politickém systému, jež se týkají zbraní, "bojových plemen" psů a sebeobrany. Práce se zaměřuje na návrhy zákonů a pozměňovací návrhy zákonů, které byly navrženy a projednávány poslaneckou sněmovnou v letech 1993 až 2010. V práci je nejprve provedeno vymezení populistického návrhu zákona, následně práce zjišťuje, zdali některé z návrhů zákonů týkajících se daných témat, navržených a probíraných v daném období poslaneckou sněmovnou toto vymezení splňují. Pokud ano, pak se snaží identifikovat navrhovatele a zjistit, v jaké politické situaci se v době podání návrhu nacházel. Cílem práce je ověření teze, že populistické návrhy jsou produkovány těmi politickými činiteli, jimž hrozí, že nebudou znovu zvoleni. This work is focused on the populist bills in the Czech political system, which covers weapons, "fighting breeds" of dogs and self-defense. The work focused on bills and amendments of laws that were designed and discussed in the Chamber of Deputies from 1993 to 2010. At the first place, definition of populist bill is summarized, then work research if bills relating to the topics covered, designed and discussed in a given period Chamber of Deputies, fits into this definition. If yes, then try to identify the petitioner and find their political situation in the time of design of the bill. The aim is to verify the thesis that populist proposals are produced by policymakers at risk of not being re-elected.
