Abstract: This contribution shows influence of code Doppler on mean acquisition time of a serial search direct-sequence spread/spectrum pseudo/noise code acquisition system in Gaussian channel. Results of this analysis enable us to set the parameters of this system to the optimum values and minimize the mean acquisition time.
