Magisterská práce Dechová hudba v současnosti - performance, funkce, recepce nahlíží dechovou hudbu v historicko-kulturní analýze s přesahem do podoby, kterou můžeme pozorovat v dnešní době. Základní badatelskou metodou je zde kvalitativní i kvantitativní terénní výzkum, s jehož pomocí autorka odpovídá na stanovené výzkumné otázky. V rámci kapitol o performanci, recepci a funkcích je zde věnován prostor hudebním příležitostem a orchestru jako prostředku performance v dechové hudbě. Pro ucelený pohled na zkoumaný předmět je celá práce zasazena do historicko-kulturního vývoje fenoménu dechové hudby. The diploma thesis Brass music today - performation, function, reception is focused on brass music in historic-cultural analysis with overhang into form which can be seen nowadays. As a fundamental research method is chosen the method of qualitative and quantitative field research, which author answers the designated research questions. Diploma thesis is set into historic-cultural development of the brass music phenomenon, in order to provide comprehensive view on the examined subject.
