[cze][eng] Cílem teoretické části mojí bakalářské práce je popsat smrt a umírání jako pojem a tyto pojmy definovat. Rozdělit a stručně popsat různé druhy smrti, dále pak shrnout přístup společnosti ke smrti a umírání z hlediska historického vývoje a v následující kapitole popsat postoje z hlediska nejvýznamnějších světových náboženství. V teoretické části bych se také chtěl zabývat a popsat paliativní péčí a úlohou sociální pracovníka v procesu umírání a také popsat problematiku eutanazie. Cílem praktické části je získat, zhodnotit a porovnat postoje všech věkových skupin v současné České společnosti ke smrti. Výzkum provedu kvantitativní metodou pomocí dotazníku. Na základě stanovených hypotéz, jsem stanovil soubor otázek vztahujících se k hypotézám, ze kterých jsem sestavil dotazník. Do dotazníku jsem také zařadil identifikační otázky, sloužící k bližší identifikaci respondentů. Ke každé otázce jsem vypracoval graf a popsal jej. Dále sestavím tabulku, kde vyjádřím a následně popíšu, jak na otázky odpovídali jednotlivé skupiny lidí. V praktické části se podařilo prokázat, že v současnosti je tabuizace smrti větší u nevěřících lidí, kteří nad tématem smrti přemýšlejí méně často. První hypotéza byla tedy potvrzena. Hypotéza, která předpokládala, že mladí lidé, do 24 let budou mít největší obavy z psychického utrpení při umírání, se nepotvrdila. Taktéž se nepotvrdila hypotéza, která předpokládala, že lidé ve věku 60 let a výše budou mít strach z fyzického utrpení. Staří lidé uváděli nejčastěji strach z bezmoci. U lidí do 24 let byli odpovědi vyrovnané. Třetí hypotézu se podařilo prokázat. Na otázku ohledně jejich zájmu o téma smrti prokázali zastánci legalizace eutanazie menší zájem než odpůrci.The main goal of my thesis is to describe the idea of death and dying, and then to define these. Then I will differentiate and describe various types of death, together with summarizing historical evolution of the approach of society to death, and in the next part I will describe the idea of death as it is seen by the most significant world religions. In theoretical part of my thesis I would like to define the purpose of palliative care and the role social workers play in the process of dying, and define the problematic surrounding euthanasia. The main goal of the practical part is to obtain, evaluate and summarize the approach to death of all the age groups in contemporary czech society. The reasearch will be done with the help of quantitative method in the form of questionnaire. Based on the established hypotheses, I created multiple questions related to the hypotheses, from which I created the questionnaire. The questionnaire also contains identification questions, which are meant to give closer identification of respondents. A graph has been created to every question and each graph has been labeled. Next I will create charts which will evaluate how separate age groups answered the questions. The practical part of the thesis confirmed, that in the present the tabooing of the death is more common with atheists, who do not think about the topic of the death very often. First hypothesis has been confirmed. The hypothesis which assumed that the young people to the age of 24 years are going to be the most afraid ones of the psychic pain while dying, has not been confirmed. Neither has been the hypothesis which assumed the elderly people (60 years and more) are going to be The most common answer among elderly people was the fear of being helpless. The answers were equalized among the youger generation (to the age of 24 years). The third hypothesis also has been confirmed. The answers, to the question of death topic interest, proponents of legalizing euthanasia have shown less interest than opponents.
