Na řešení mimořádných událostí se v dnešní době podílí celá řada subjektů, základní a ostatní složky integrovaného záchranného systému, právnické i fyzické osoby. Armáda České republiky, významný zástupce ostatní složky integrovaného záchranného systému, poskytuje pro řešení mimořádných událostí velký počet sil a prostředků. V rámci Armády České republiky působí speciální policejní sbor, Vojenská policie. Jejím úkolem je policejní ochrana v rozsahu vymezeném zákonem o Vojenské policii. Nový zákon o Vojenské policii přinesl změny, které se staly předmětem mého zkoumání. At the present time, a large number of entities participate in handling emergency situations both basic and other constituent parts of the Integrated Rescue System, and both legal and natural persons. The Army of the Czech Republic, an important entity falling under the other constituent parts of the Integrated Rescue System, provides much workforce and many resources for handling emergency situations. The Army of the Czech Republic includes a special police corps, the Military Police. The task of the Military Police is police protection to the extent specified by the Military Police Act. The new Military Police Act brought some changes which became the subject of my inquiry.
