[cze][eng] Diabetes mellitus je chronické metabolické onemocnění, které způsobují environmentální a genetické faktory. Toto onemocnění je charakteristické zvýšenou hladinou glukózy v krvi. Diabetes se rozděluje na dva hlavní typy. Diabetes I. typu je autoimunitní reakce organismu. Jeho genetická predispozice spočívá hlavně v HLA komplexu II. třídy. Diabetes II. typu představuje porucha sekrece nebo účinku inzulínu. Genetická predispozice pro rozvoj tohoto typu diabetu je velmi rozmanitá.Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disease, which is caused by enrivonmental and genetic factors. This disease is characterised by elevated glucose levels in the blood. Diabetes is divided into two main types. Diabetes type I. is the autoimmune reaction of the organism. It's genetic predisposition is mainly based on the HLA complex II. class. Diabetes type II. is represented by impaired insulin secretion or action. Genetic predisposition of this type is very various.
