Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na současnou situaci poskytování tlumočnických služeb pro neslyšící v České republice. Zachycuje vývoj tlumočnických služeb v naší zemi od 70. let 20. století až do jejich dnešní podoby. Pojednává také o různých přístupech k tlumočení pro neslyšící, změnách vnímání role tlumočníka a legislativních normách vztahujících se k tlumočení. V této práci je také popsáno fungování tlumočnických organizací, které služby zprostředkující komunikaci mezi slyšícími a neslyšícími lidmi poskytují. Zmiňuje se také o historických zvratech a milnících ve vývoji tlumočnických služeb, které měly značný význam pro život neslyšících a které především přímo souvisí s legislativním ukotvením českého znakového jazyka a s proměnami Etického kodexu tlumočníka znakového jazyka. Podkladem pro praktickou část této práce byla data poskytnutá Českou komorou tlumočníků znakového jazyka (dále Komora). Tato data byla sebrána v rámci on-line kvantitativního výzkumu, který byl realizován v období od října 2010 do prosince 2010 výzkumným týmem Komory, jehož členkou byla i autorka této práce. V praktické části autorka podává náhled na současnou situaci tlumočení pro neslyšící v České republice z pohledu českých neslyšících - klientů a uživatelů služeb. Klíčová slova: Tlumočnické služby, neslyšící,... This final paper is focused on the recent situation of providing interpretation services for the deaf in Czech Republic. It discusses the development of interpretation services in Czech Republic from seventies of the twentieth century until the present time. In this paper also various approaches to interpretation for the deaf are included as well as the role of interpreter and legislation norms associated with interpretation. It also describes functioning of interpretation organizations providing interpretation services. It also mentions the historical turbulences and milestones in the development of interpretation services that have had a considerable impact on the deaf community and that particularly have been directly connected to the sign language legislation and to the changes of the sign language interpreter's Code of Ethics. The data provided by the Czech Chamber of Sign Language Interpreters (Komora) have been the base for practical part of this final paper. This data have been collected within the research done by the Komora team since October until December 2010. The autor of this final paper was member of this research team as well.
