Záměrem této práce je postihnout společná témata dvou významných španělských spisovatelů Miguela de Unamuna a Antonia Buera Valleja, které spojovaly otázky ohledně lidského bytí. První z nich žil v letech 1864-1936 a bývá často označován za autora preexistencialismu, druhý byl autorem výrazně mladším, narozeným v roce 1916, kterého velmi ovlivnilo období španělské občanské války, a jehož zasáhla vlna existenciálního myšlení, objevující se po první světové válce. Pro svou práci jsem zvolila dvě konkrétní díla, Unamunův román Mlha a Buerovu divadelní hru Světlík. První část se zaobírá výkladem základních pojmů důležitých pro oba autory, poté jsou vyloženy základní myšlenky světového existencialismu. Tyto existenciální problémy se pak snažím aplikovat na daná díla během rozboru jejich dějové linie. V závěrečné části se věnuji úvahám o životě, které oba spisovatele spojují. The aim of this work is to discover the common themes of two important Spanish writers Miguel de Unamuno and Antonio Buero Vallejo, whose works deal with the matters of human being. The first of them lived in the years of 1864-1936 and is often described as an author of preexistentialism, the second, an author noticeably younger, born in 1916, was influenced by the Spanish civil war and was affected by the wave of existentialism, which appeared after the First World War. I have chosen two particular works, Unamuno s novel Niebla and Buero s El Tragaluz for my thesis. The first part is focused on the explanation of the basic terms important for both authors, afterwards the basic thoughts of the existentialist phylosophy are described. These existential background is checked in the approaching to the mentioned works in the mirror of the main interpretative questions analyzed by the academy. Buero Vallejo s and Unamuno s fundamental and parallel conclusions about the sense of human life are mentioned in the final part.
