Abstract: A few results of experiments on secondary flow in curved pipe of circular cross-section are presented. The experiments have been carried out using a 5-hole pressure probe. comparison of the case of low-turbulent top-hat profile elbow inflow and fully developed turbulent channel flow has been made. the secondary flow effects have been found to be much stronger in the developed inflow case.
