Informační portál je v ÚT AV ČR zaváděn jako výkonný prostředek řízení instituce a výzkumných procesů a jako jednotné komumikační prostředí. Neposledním důvodem je i snaha ústavu zapojit se do celosvětového globálního sdílení výzkumných informací. The information portal of IT AS CR is implemented namely as a performer tool of the institute management and as an integral institute communication environment. Last but not least reason of portal implementation is a drive for the effective connection the Institute into global research information shearing among world research institutions.
