V článku jsou stručně uvedeny fyzikální představy o turbulentním proudění, o jeho vířivé povaze, o atributech turbulence a důležitých vlastnostech při velkém Reynoldsově čísle. The principal ideas on turbulent flows, on vortex structure of turbulence, main attributes of turbulence and on the important features of turbulence at high Reynolds number are presented in the paper.
