Abstract: In the paper the numerical model of the electrochemical and mechanical heart activity which has been developed at the IT CAS is described. The generation of the cardiac action potentials and the ions transport through cardiac myocytes is modelled by the Beeler-Reuter equations. For the pressures generation in the heart the relation derived from the energy balance is used. The paper includes some results of the numerical simulation.
