Abstract: A simplified finite element) model of the human vocal tract is presented and its fundamental vibroacoustic characteristics are analysed. Solid-fluid interaction and acoustic wall impedance are taken into account on some parts of the boundaries of the acoustic space.
Keywords: biomechanics of human voice; finite element modelling; modal analysis
