V příspěvku jsou prezentovány zkušenosti s využitím akustické emise při analýze stupně poškození cyklicky namáhaných keramických materiálů. A preliminary study of acoustic emission as a way of sensing damage in cemented carbides WC-Co and alumina/zirconia ceramics in low cycle compression-compression conditions was performed. Significant differences in acoustic emission data gathered on cemented carbides samples and alumina/zirconia ceramics samples were observed. The goal of further research is proposed
