V této práci jsou nejprve vysvětleny základní pojmy z oboru epileptologie a je poukázáno na problematiku experimentálních studií. Zbytek práce je poté věnován febrilním záchvatům, jejich vzniku, rozvoji a vlivu na organismus. Srovnání záchvatů spojených se zvýšenou tělesnou teplotou a ostatních experimentálně používaných modelů je zařazeno na závěr práce. In this work basic concepts of epileptology are explained first. Next the issue of experimental study is pointed out. The rest of the work is then devoted to febrile seizures, their generation, spread and effect on the organism. Confrontation of seizures associated with increased body temperature and other experimental models are placed at the end.
