Abstract: Tin-bearing granites of the Horní Slavkov area are a part of the Krudum massif, independent magmatic body on the southwestern margin of the Karlovy Vary pluton. Tin bearing topaz-albite granite originated by means of progressive fractional crystallization from peraluminous granitic melt, which produced topaz-bearing two-mica granites. The origin of the granite stocks was associated with fluid fractionation leading to the origin of zoning in the development of tin-bearing granites.
