Je zde zmíněna historie onemocnění, etiopatogeneze, původce a vektor. Dále jsou zde poznamenány jednotlivé klinické formy onemocnění, vyšetřovací metody, diagnostika a léčba. Průzkumné šetření se týká zjištění postojů a míry informovanosti o tomto onemocnění. Zkoumaný vzorek tvoří klienti praktického lékaře. V práci jsem kladla důraz na nutnost informovanosti o tomto epidemickém onemocnění a edukaci. Vypracovaný edukační materiál pro veřejnost je zaměřen na prevenci napadení klíštětem a správné odstraňování klíštěte. This thesis examines issues surrounding Lyme boreliosis. History of the disease is explored together with pathogenesis, cause, and its vector. Additionally, specific clinical expressions of the disease are identified in conjunction with assessment methods, diagnosis, and treatment. Conducted research explores attitudes and extent of information among patients. The research sample consists of patients of one family physician. Importance is of dissemination of information about this disease and education is discussed. Presented education material aimed at general population is focused on prevention of exposure to ticks, and correct removal of ticks.
