Disertační práce Poezie prvních tří desetiletí 19. století. Východiska a podmínky tvorby a její žánrová skladba v díle osvícenské básnické generace se zabývá poezií českého národního obrození od vystoupení Puchmajerovy básnické školy vycházející z osvícenského klasicismu až po díla vznikající pod sílícím vlivem romantismu ve třicátých letech 19. století. Klade si za cíl sledovat vývoj, proměny a vzájemné působení nejdůležitějších lyrických i epických žánrů obrozenské poezie, a to se zřetelem k dobové úloze veršovaného slova a k specifickým podmínkám tvorby i recepce jazykově českých básnických děl. Předpokládá a na konkrétních textech ověřuje, že psaní českých básní je pro obrozenské autory především výrazem vlasteneckého úsilí; talent a literární erudice nejsou nutnou dispozicí k tvorbě. Práce analyzuje básnické texty a výsledky zobecňuje v podobě základních rysů obrozenské poezie. Na základě proměn jednotlivých žánrů zdůrazňují závěry práce zásadní posun, k němuž v básnické tvorbě národního obrození došlo ve dvacátých letech 19. století. Směřování básní k vysoké náročnější poezii, nebo naopak k zábavné produkci odráželo reálnou diferenciaci čtenářstva doposud soustředěného v představě idealizovaného čtenáře-vlastence. Analýza textů rovněž dokládá, že poezii v prvních třech desetiletích 19. století... The PhD thesis Poetry of the First Three Decades of the 19th Century. Starting Points and Conditions of Creation and Its Genre Composition in the Work of the Enlightenment Poetic Generation deals with poetry of the Czech national revival starting from appearance of Puchmajer's poetic school stemming from Enlightenment classicism to pieces of work created under the growing influence of romanticism in the 30ies of the 19th century. The goal of this thesis is to follow the development, transformations and mutual action of the most important lyrical and epic genres of revival poetry, in view of the contemporary role of writing in verse and of the specific conditions of creation as well as reception of poetic work in the Czech language. It assumes and verifies on specific texts that for revival authors, writing of Czech poems is especially an expression of patriotic efforts; talent and literary erudition are not a necessary predisposition of creation. The thesis analyses poetic texts and generalises the results in the form of basic features of revival poetry. Based on transformations of individual genres, the conclusions of this thesis emphasize the principal advancement which occurred in poetic creation of the national revival in the 20ies of the 19th century.
