Otcovství a mateřství jsou ve společnosti navzájem provázány. Existují určité společenské normy, které určují obsah, kterým by měla být naplněna role otce a role matky ve společnosti. Pro svoji práci jsem vybrala z této dvojice rolí tu méně zkoumanou a to roli otce. Tuto roli jsem se rozhodla zkoumat v historickém kontextu období Československa 80. let. Pro toto období je charakteristická vláda totalitní moci. Tento fakt učiní myslím tuto práci ještě zajímavější, jelikož do běžného života občanů a občanek té doby zasahovala výrazně charakteristika vlády totalitní moci. Inspiraci pro svoji práci jsem našla v bakalářské práci Lindy Božovské, která tuto roli otce již zkoumala na stránkách časopisu Vlasta z let 1976-80. Svou prací na tuto práci navazují a to tak, že zkoumám roli otce prostřednictvím časopisu Vlasta z let 1981-89. Nejprve uvedu svoji práci historicko-společenským kontextem komunistického Československa, který se domnívám, že je pro tuto práci klíčový. Dále se zaměřím na gender v tomto specifickém období, následovat bude otcovství v době totalitní vlády a představení časopisu Vlasta. V empirické části použiji metodu obsahové analýzy. Mým pramenným materiálem budou články časopisu Vlasta z let 1981-1989, které se týkají otcovské role. Tato analýza představovala celkem analýzu 432 vydání týdeníku... Fatherhood and motherhood are mutually interconnected in a society. There are specific social norms determining what should be the content of fathers' and mothers' role in society. I have chosen the less studied role from this dyad - namely the fathers' role.I have decided to study this role in a historical context of Czechoslovakia during the eighties. This period was characterized by a totalitarian regime. I think that this fact makes my study even more interesting , because totalitarian power interfered with ordinary citizens' life considerably. I found inspiration for my work in the baccalaureate thesis of Linda Božovská, who studied the fathers' role in the magazine Vlasta for the period of 1976-80. I continue by studying fathers' role as reflected in the Vlasta magazine for the period 1981-89. First I will introduce my study by characterizing the socio-historical context of communist Czechoslovakia , which is supposedly crucial for this study. After that I will concentrate on gender in this specific period. Fatherhood in the totalitarian regime will follow as well as the introduction of the Vlasta magazine.
