Abstract: Hlavním cílem této práce bylo analyzovat vznik a vývoj osmanského zahraničního dluhu v posledním období existence Osmanské říše. Jedná se o značně široké téma, pro jehož porozumění bylo třeba uvést politické, ekonomické a sociální souvislosti osmanského i evropského vývoje ve sledovaném období druhé poloviny 19. století.
