Anotace: Diplomová práce "Vliv jazyka při výuce matematiky v cizím jazyce" pojednává o problematice vlivu cizího jazyka na úspěšnost v matematice. Teoretická část obsahuje obecné pojednání o výuce formou CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning), jsou v ní definovány její možné formy, nastíněna stručně její historie a psychologická východiska, zmiňuje též její možné výhody a nevýhody. Dále je zde zařazen přehled o možnostech středoškolského studia v cizím jazyce v České republice. Empirická část je věnována samotnému výzkumu, který je založen na zkoumání vlivu jazyka na řešení konkrétních matematických úloh a na analýze dat získaných od žáků z dotazníku. Výzkumné šetření se snaží odhalit konkrétní jazyková úskalí, které s sebou může výuka matematicky v cizím jazyce přinášet. Pro úplnost je na závěr zařazena kapitola, která obsahuje informace o osvojování odborné terminologie a několik návrhů na její výuku a procvičování. Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je zkoumání vlivu jazyka na výuku matematiky v cizím jazyce na základě odborné literatury a vlastního výzkumu. Získané informace by měly vest k určení jazykových problémů, které mohou dětem bránit při porozumění matematice a s tím souvisejícím řešením matematických úloh. This diploma thesis, titled "Influence of language when teaching mathematics through the medium of a foreign language," deals with problems of language influence on success in mathematics. The theoretical part consists of a general definition of Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), including its classification, a brief history, psychological aspects, its possible advantages and disadvantages and the potential of CLIL studies at grammar schools in the Czech Republic. The empirical part deals with the original research, composed of the investigation of language influence on solving concrete mathematical problems and of analyzing children's questionnaire data to discover their particular language barriers as they relate to teaching and learning mathematics through the medium of a foreign language. The last chapter, which deals with technical vocabulary acquisition and the proposal of some teaching activities, completes and closes the research. The primary objective of this diploma thesis is to investigate the language influence on teaching mathematics through the medium of a foreign language.
