Domácí násilí je závažný a velmi rozšířený fenomén, který se objevuje napříč sociálním spektrem, bez rozdílu hodnot, vzdělání, vyznání, příjmů, společenského postavení. Po staletí bylo domácí násilí mlčky tolerováno. V České republice se považovalo za soukromou věc mezi partnery, a to až do roku 2004, kdy byl do trestního zákona zařazen § 215a (týrání osoby žijící ve společně obývaném bytě nebo domě). Od 1.1.2007 může policie podle zákona č. 135/2006 Sb., na ochranu před domácím násilím, zasáhnout již v raném stadiu rozvoje domácího násilí a vykázat násilnou osobu ze společné domácnosti. Tím je možné zastavit spirálu násilí a předejít další traumatizaci ohrožené osoby a jejích dětí. Nezbytným předpokladem pro včasné zastavení domácího násilí je dostatek informací o problematice domácího násilí, jeho projevech a možnostech řešení vzniklé náročné situace za využití širší psychosociální sítě pomoci včetně možnosti vykázání násilné osoby. Informovanost profesionálů i laické veřejnosti se jeví jako klíčová, neboť první kontakt s ohroženou osobou může buď zahájit komplikovaný proces odpoutávání se od násilné osoby, nebo na dlouhý čas utlumit odhodlání ohrožené osoby k řešení. V teoretické části diplomové práce definuji v první kapitole základní pojmy - co je to domácí násilí, kdo je ohrožená a násilná osoba, co... The domestic violence is very serious and wide-spread phenomenon which appears across the social spectrum despite the people's priorities, education, income, religion or social position. The domestic violence has been quietly tolerated across the centuries. In the Czech Republic it was regarded as a private thing of the partners even till the year 2004 when the paragraph §215a (harassment of the person living in the common household or a house) was included in the penal law. From the 1st January 2007 the police have been allowed to save the victims of the domestic violence already at the very beginning of it and expel the violent person from the common household according to the law number 135/2006 Sb. This enables to stop the wave of the violence and avoid further traumatisation of the endangered person or his or her children. Sufficient number of information about the domestic violence and its features and possibilities of solution of the demanding situation within use of the wider psycho-social services also including the possibility of expelling the violent person is essential assumption to stop the domestic violence in time.
